I had a really good experience in Nogales last week, I got my visa stamping on the same day of my appointment and the NVS International team was great. They arranged everything for me:transportation from the Tucson Airport to Nogales, they arranged my hotel stay, bank draft as well as transportation from the hotel to the consulate. The extremely contrasty background doesn't help, and the blown highlights on the dog's nose are also distracting. I'm not sure how much it would help, but you might try using fill flash (that still won't solve the background issue). Shooting on a day that's not overcast might help bring the sky into range.

Hi,
I have applied for COS from L1-B to L1-A and received an RFE which we have responded to.
The application is still pending with USCIS, while my I-94 is expiring on 07/31
What will happen if I do not receive decision before expiry of my I-94? Will I be out of status after the I-94 expiry date.
I have my I-485 pending as well (I-140 approved) and have EAD but not used.

OED defines Visa as "An endorsement on a passport indicating that the holder is allowed to enter, leave or stay for a specified period of time in a country"
By that definition I believe that a visa can be issue anywhere, inside and outside of the country.

You should be fine. If you I-140 is not approved by 2008, you can apply for a 1 year extension based on the fact you have an approved labor. Otherwise you would get a 3 year extension.

How about this ? Lets say your consulting firm is ready to file your I-485 upon lots of restriction such as two year agreement and to spend around 10 gran.
While the big firm who has filed the PERM and waiting for the approval. In this case, can we do both the cases to see which is better upon the current situation.
This will help few of our folks and your thoughts are always appreciated.

B1 is purely-non-immigrant-intent visa while H1 is dual-intent. Given this, I do not see any harm entering on B1 while you have a valid I-797 presumably starting Oct 1st? So, after returning you can appear for H1 visa stamp and later enter using H1.
