all those who are asking for donation..would you be happy if I donate a 1000$...why not make IV a paysite :D

I dont want to list here all the charities and social stuff I do just because a bunch of morons demand donation...hahaha sounds like ganesh festival donation demand :D
just know that we all do stuff in our lives oneway or other to give back to society...
And the losers who could get 15% investment and mock other who got more...please grow up...world is much bigger than your box
anyways..since you asked me try a simple investment in wellsfargo around march,april with 100K and figure out how much you get...as they say your attitude is, if you cant do it dont let other do it or just live in denial :)

One my friends got his wife's AP approved by scheduling an appointment with local InfoPass office. but you need a valid reason and proof for that. In his case he got his father in law's medical certificate from India.

When your friend went for INFOPASS, did he get a single copy of the AP, or two copies of the AP ?
I want to know if there is a difference between getting APs through mail or INFOPASS.

I bought a home recently in PA. All I showed are I485 receipt, expired visa on passport,employment and other proof of income . They never asked me the EAD. Loan is through BOA. Most of the immigrants maintain good credit scores so there is good chance of getting loans approved.

I want everybody to get their GCs. but now interfiling/porting is hurting out position in the queue.
No you dont. You just want your own GC. If possible, hand delivered by the President of USA after he washes your feet.
If you are not aware, a good bunch of EB3s are now trying to interfile & port their PDs which are between 2001 - 2005 to EB2.
This will potentially put tens of thousands of people in the EB2 queue before most people in EB2 who are waiting.
These people were not eligible for EB2 when they filed their own labor.. so they should NOT BE ALLOWED TO PORT THEIR OLD PDs. Sure EB3 can Interfile .. but you will get a new PD ... the date you interfile.

This PD porting is the last "not so ethical & legal" thing after labor substitution.. that we need to Put a cork on.

My attorney applied my Labor in Nov 2006 (according to him) in Atlanta and I still don�t have any response �no audit �.nothing �.it is just in process�can u believe it?

I hope 140 and 485 is still not in retrogression state �. Do u guys know how long it will continue to be in this state�
You can ask your lawyer to send an email. I have read some cases in IV where after 90 days if the lawyer/employer sends ane email they respond with the status . why dont you try that?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the "SSN Rule" is meant to keep the illegals form getting the rebate?? Ironically, a lot of them are working using "valid", although stolen, SSN numbers anyway so they'll probably still get it if the IRS doesn't have any other way of weening them out? Again, the legal immigrant community gets punished (indirectly) for the misgivings of the illegals. Just my rambling thoughts...:cool:

My husband has been working on H1B with a leading company in USA since early 2000. Our Labor was filed in March 2005 and is stuck at BEC. I am on H4 and am not able to work or contribute.
One of our friends starting working in USA through a consultant in late 2004. Filed his I-140 directly with a substitute PD in June 2005. They received their EAD same year in October 2005 and received his physical Green card on February 2006 . He used a priority date of 1999 due to his substitute PD. Now he is a free bird and can move jobs, his wife can work and they receive all the benefits of green card.
How fair can this be?
We are unable to move, take up a better job, receive a promotion or take up fulltime studies even after getting admission in best Universities due to our Visa situation.
Sweeping changes are necessary in immigration rules and the date the person starts to work on H1B should be considered as the priority date. It will eliminate lot of corruption and reward those who truly contribute to the economy.

I am EB3...good news is the two-year EAD...a bit relieved.
